Hello all, it's Wanyee here again. :)

I just want to say, all the very best for the English paper tomorrow! Believe in yourself people, you can do it! I hope that all of you will be studying extremely hard for the English paper as if you manage to pass English, you'll only need to pass 2 more subjects in order to advance to Sec4. I'm not saying that the other subjects are not important, but at least try your best to pass your English.

I hope that none of us will give up on each other. We must advance to Secondary4 as a class of 43 students. We should not leave anyone behind, yes? :) And for that to happen, we should motivate each other, and stop demoralising each other. I believe each and everyone of us has our own strengths, and we're not the lower end of the NA classes.

I am really happy &proud of the class. :) For the recent Maths test, our class manage to do better than class312. This proves that we can do it! All of us should continue to strive hard and not procrastinate just because we did better than 312.

I wish all of you all the best for your papers. Please don't give up on yourself. Tell yourself that we just need to work extra hard for the next 2 or 3weeks, and after that, we'll be able play as much as we want to. What is most important now is to be able to advance to Sec4 as a class. So please, study hard and pay attention in class. Treat every teacher equally and respect them equally.

Hello all . This is your chairman , Brandon here .

In this post of mine which is also my first post in this blog , i would be talking about the rules of the class blog which all off you must definitely obey. Remember , we certainly would not like derogatory remarks to be made on our class. So that is why , by coming up with these ground rules, we would establish a strong platform for us to discuss certain issues and at the same time , motivate each other in terms of performance in the academic area . Hopefully by establishing this class blog , we would be aware of more controversial issues which are happening in the industry nowadays and also , improve our english at the same time .

Rule 1 : Criticism towards each other is strictly prohibited . No matter how much our classmate is lagging behind academically , we should never criticise him/her. Remember , this is a motivational platform for us .It is not somewhere we cast sarcastic remarks towards our peers.

Rule 2 : No personal attacks should be on this blog . Remember we do not vent our anger towards each other here. Remember, 313 is a fully disiplined class. It's just that we are slow.

Rule 3 : Keep language clean and friendly. Vulgarities is strictly prohibited. Please use proper English. Avoid the use of shortcuts and jargon used in text messages and other forms of electronic communication.

Rule 4 : Publish your best work - check spellings and present with pride. Use appropriate language - remember it is a class blog. TRY you best to use vocabularly, especially what we have learnt during english lessons and what we have done for our tests.

Rule 5 : No insulting one another's religion or race. Remember , Singapore is a multi-racial society. And so is our class , definitely we do not want to be involved in the law in future. Let us aqquire a strong sense of disipline in terms of analysing one another's race and religion.

Rule 6 : None of you are allowed to post personal advertisements . Unless it is something which involves the school or whatsoever.

Rule 7 : Do not write anything that could hurt someone’s feelings. We do not want to see barriers being built among each other and also conflicts . This goes out to us in class also . ALSO do not cast sarcastic remarks which are indirectly refering to the one you refering too .

Rule 8 : Whenever assignments are being given to us , remember to complete everything , bearing in mind the DEADLINE for such assignments .

Rule 9 : Do not post bad comments on how the lessons for any subject are carried out . Bearing in mind the teachers, do not cast bad remarks on them too . Remember we are just students , not qualified civil servants unlike them . We have not earned our rights yet. We do not have the right to do such things. And also , things like this should obviously not be commited however i have to talk about it incase some people really commit these acts of foolishness .

Rule 10 : Please avoid spamming as it certainly is unconvenient to each of us .

[Punishment would be carried out by our teachers if we break any of these rules .]

Just obey and follow the rules everyone, and i assure you we will be the best class in terms of class spirit . We have a long way to go , however the train has yet to leave . It is still waiting .
For now , concentrate on your upcoming end of year examinations. Take care everyone.

I changed the blogskin because the previous blogskin could not be viewed in firefox and I can't seemed to insert the comment box into the previous blogskin. I don't know if you guys will like this blogskin, but if you think that it is very plain, please inform Tanya or Me, and we'll change the blogskin again. :)

The end of year examinations are in 8 days time. I hope that the whole class will motivate each other to study and hopefully, the whole class will be able to advance to secondary4NA together as a class. Please start to revise if you haven't started revising, the end of year examinations are round the corner.

May all of you study hard and stop demoralising each other. We can do it! &We're definately not the lowest end of NA. :) Study and mug hard everyone! Stop procrastinating! (: See you guys tomorrow in school. Oh and don't forget to comment when you pass by this blog! :)

today we didn't really get to talk about the blog but we'll do so tomorrow. Anyway, PD was cut short because most of you had to complete a survey.

I shared with those who remained behind on the purpose of the "find-brandon-if-you-can" game we played in class. Well,
firstly, the blindfold represents our distractions, our laziness and barriers preventing us from seeing the "light" (i.e. waking up). With the blindfold, we cannot see our goals clearly just as Wafiq could not see WeeKiat nor could he see Brandon, for that matter.
While being blindfolded, Wafiq sustained several "knocks" on his way to reach his goal ( Brandon, WeeKiat and Shamir).

Without a clear goal, Wafiq would be probably walking around in circles without an aim.

In the same way, I shared with the class that we should begin with the end in mind.

Think about what you want to achieve at the end of your secondary school life First. Once you can settle that honestly with yourself, everything will fall nicely into place.

If the end you picture is getting into a polytechnic, you will then do whatever you Can to GET there.

wanna thank Tanya firstly for doing this up so nicely :)
Well, apologies to those who have been waiting eagerly for activities on the blog. I've been quite busy but I assure you after the holidays during PD we shall talk about it.

My purpose in starting this blog remains the same: to create a platform for all 313 students to voice their opinions and concerns and to create a communication channel between us teachers and you students.

Also included in the plan was to arouse in you some interest in controversial issues and current affairs and to provide a safe environment for all of us to formulate and voice our opinions. I do not prize a correct answer but really the courage to voice one's opinion, whether they may be popular or not.

Well, I've said enough, we shall talk more during PD. As the title of this post suggests, by the time september ends, you'd have completed your final year examinations. Not to burst anyone's bubble, but when school reopens, we have a fast train to catch. So enjoy what's left of the holidays and I look forward to seeing you back in school on Monday.
